I had this WiFi and internet had an X next to it. The only thing that worked for me was connecting via ethernet cable. Once the recovery worked, the WiFi reconnected as normal.

A few things that have helped others;
Try rebooting your broadband router when your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream puck is unplugged.
Then, try the restart procedure again.
Try temporarily connecting an ethernet cable from your Sky Glass Tv or Sky Stream puck to your broadband router and once up and running do a network reset in the Sky device settings and add back to your normal broadband wifi.
Or, on a mobile phone go into the phone settings, search for mobile hotspot.
Create one and when the procedure asks for wifi, connect temporarily to that mobile hotspot you created and once up and running then go into the Sky device settings, do a network reset and add back to your normal broadband wifi.

Morning @GD1 ! I've tried it all several times and it really does seem to me to be a Sky issue.
Looking through the Community relating to the puck, I noticed this from you last December "@Jobo46 If you don't get any further tomorrow post back in this thread and we'll be able to escalate this to the Community Messaging Team (who are UK based)." [My emphasis]
Like many others who are having the same problem, I'm not getting anywhere by phone. Any suggestions as to how to make progress with Sky will be gratefully received! 🙂

This still doesn't work for me it's like my TV is not connected to my sky remote or the puck. We have been without this service now for 3 days...I hope sky are going to refund us for this break in service...god knows when it will be resolved.

I was on the phone for over two hours on Sunday and still didn't get through to anyone. The customer service is disgusting. This will be the fourth day without service. Come on sky sort this out and refund your customers for the appalling service.

I have Sky glass downstairs but I have a small box upstairs. The box upstairs wont turn on. The light comes on then just flashes on and off then goes back off. If left plugged in, it just keeps repeating it.
Is anyone else having any issues?

I'VE FINALLY GOT MINE BACK UP AND RUNNING!!!!!
The only thing I did differently was turn my router off and back on again.
Then I turned my Stream Puck back on at the plug whilst holding the power button in until the coloured flashing lights came on.
The TV was on, the Sky logo appeared, then it asked me to reconnect to my wifi to enable software update.
Once that was done, it asked me to reconnect my Puck to the TV and remote, using all the same PINs etc as when I first set it up...
Then the home screen appeared and we're good to go.

Hi all,
Been without this service since Thursday,
Cannot log in to activate, no humans to talk to so will cancel my subscription via direct debit. No doubt some one will soon contact me.
Off to Freeveiw.
After 9 years with Virgin , never had an issue. 2 months with this rip off organisation is 2 months too many!
Rant over, don't get ripped off!

As frustrating as it is it's not recommended. If Sky cancel your account due to non payment it could lead to marker on your credit file etc. also Sky systems won't let them talk to you untill the balance is cleared in full online or via automated phone system.

stll cant link puck to my account even though my sky says there are no issues now have tried calling sky and them keep cutting me off before i can even speak to anyone dont know what else i can do have followed all instructuons for resetting my Puck too may times still only getting as far as kink your account go to page and still just keep getting "opps there a problem" call a sky expert well that a joke expert can teven get on a que to speak to someone
