Mine is also down and I have just spent 55 minutes waiting to speak to someone at Sky to ask when the outage issue will be solved. In the end I just gave up. Looking elsewhere it seems to take a minimun of 2 days depending on the problem.
I hope we get a credit on out bills. I should charge them for ther cost of the phonecall!

Hi all,
Our sky puck/sky stream went down last night. We've checked online and the service status says there is an outage in your area, but doesn't give any updates on when they expect it to be fixed - is there a way for me to find out?
Thanks

Same sky puck issue in Wales - reset it several times, Sky logo comes up twice then nothing... clearly has power and connection, just failing to restart.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI have moved into a very long thread about the current Sky Glass issues. No need to read nearly 2000 posts but have a look at post number 2 on page 1 currently showing as the answer and follow that advice.

Thank you, this worked perfectly (once I realised that I should be pressing the button on the sky stream and not my remote 🙄 Also it did ask me to link my account and the link displayed on sky stream did not work instead I had to google activate sky stream. All is good now however, so thank you

Follow the procedure in post 2 of this thread, flagged as the Answer post from Sky.

Seriously, this is ridiculous now.
My puck has been down for (closing in on) 24 hours. I've done the "fix" several times and it hasn't worked. The "fix" is just a workaround that is only sorting out some devices, not all.
You need to start coming up with some other solution(s) asap!

Sky Stream stopped working I have followed the steps to reset the puck. When it asks me to link my account everytime I try to access my account it says there is a problem and I need to call a sky expert. I have now been on hold for 51 minutes and without sky stream for 2 days!!! Customer service is shocking!

The procedure isn't a 'workaround': it's a hard reset which manually initiates a software download. If the initial problem has rendered the televisions and pucks unable to have software pushed to them, it's difficult to see what the 'other solution(s)' might be other than hardware replacement, which obviously has a much longer timescale.
