That's not right it is a known problem the call centre should not have said that. Try the reboot again take it step by step.

www.sky.com/activate or any derivative of www.sky.com/activate DOES NOT WORK on any browser I've used. ("Oops blah blah blah...")

 

Sky Broadband/Wi-Fi works.  

 

This is definitely a Sky problem, not mine.  Why are we all trying to sort this out ourselves when everything crashed at the same time?

Probably an overworked CS representative having a very bad day.  Personally I'd suggest trying again tomorrow.

 

The issue of an 'out of warranty' device being broken by an unavoidable software update pushed out by the manufacturer is one that I suspect doesn't currently have adequate consumer rights law attached to it.

I genuinely have, about 20 times, my TV is no longer seeing power, tried different leads and sockets that I know work, it's bricked, and now told by Sky that as it's out of warranty there is nothing they can do.

I can see a court case coming asking us to constantly turn our tvs on and off every minute something will short out soon

Reset the Sky puck about 5 times now and nothing different, always stuck on incorrect PIN.

 

Found that after resetting the Puck, if you pair the remote with 1+3 buttons then when asked if you want to have the remote control the TV reply with No. 

It then took me straight to the PIN menu but the menu appeared different and didn't say incorrect PIN, entered PIN set by default and the puck is now working.

sky streaming puck

my 2 pucks went off suddenly on Thusday night. I spent most of today waiting to get an agent,as could not get them via telephone. On the website finally after 1 hour wait,I got an agent,whom was no help at all. went onto them again later on in the afternoon, and gave them all my information again, with the puck ids,but all The agent gave me was 3 telephone numbers, which gave me a recorded message saying that there was an issue with sky glass. I do NOT have sky glass. However, at approx., 6.30 pm 1 of the pucks came on. However the other one in the bedroom has failed to connect to the tv. I am totally fed up trying different things to get it working again. Can anyone help?

Sky glass issue

Is there anyone who has lost use of the Sky glass service over the past two days, I cannot connect to my Sky glass tv but my broadband is working, can anyone help please

My puck upstairs is fine, just the Glass appears to be bricked.

Your problem is the same as mine. I'm on sky glass. Nothing wrong with your router and all day on the phone for them to still of not resolved my issue, as others on/off all day have managed to of resolved there issue. I've given up now at 21.30 I'm exhausted. I just hope it's not gonna be another 24 hours!!!

Glass not connecting to internet and can’t download Sky Go

Used the workaround to get my Sky Glass back on but now it won't connect to my broadband - so what's the point of letting me turn it back on! 

plus I can't install Sky go on my new M3 MacBook Air! 

any help out there? I've followed all the help articles and nothing is working then you just get cut off when trying to call in.
