Came home from work to find my sky glass stuck on a black screen and the red light blinking slowly did a hard reset and it comes up with the software update screen goes to 100% completes the update then goes back to black screen then the sky logo shows up in white then goes back to black and the red light slowly blinks agen any help is appreciated

That is Sky taking the mick....basically.

I tried calling them as well as I noticed the Channel 5 app crushing and thought it was one of the typical glitches. I tried to reset the box as I have done several times before and it did not work. Not happy!!

So I wouldn't advice anyone to unplug their tv, as I'm guessing when you unplug it or switch off that at the main and then plug in - it automatically connects to internet and starts downloading the update which is faulty.

All i can say is thank god iv got a chipped.firestick to watch in my bedroom since sky glass has decided to shut down  its the fact the telly wont even turn on lol 😂😂😂

I has a 2.5hr power cut. Getting same issue of blinking red light. Follow Sky advice to turn off, hold button lower right, turn on. Saus updating. Goes blank. Blinking red light. Done that 3 times so fat tonight. Nothing.

Hi there, 

My TV has been like that too since this afternoon. It was working fine this morning, but now it has been four hours and still no TV. Can't connect to anything. I thought at first it might be the power supply, but that was fine when I plugged other gadgets in. There are no known power cuts that I know of, but yeah it's the same for me. Sky knows about it though, and I thnk it is global.
