Re: Sky glass gen 2 ui very laggy

Think it must be a server thing. My Gen 2 is on QS037 and my Air is on QS038 and they both do it.

So bad, do they actually test their software updates anymore?

Re: Sky glass gen 2 ui very laggy

Ours is the same has been since around Friday. It loads up fine but when you are going up/down on the UI it's very slow, same with the playlist it's extremely slow going from tile to tile and even hurts the eyes as your getting some sort of background brightness when it moves if that makes sense with the tiles moving so slowly.

I've done the usual unplugging the set, we have glass generation 1.

Re: Sky Glass Gen 1 & 2: UI Lag

My gen 2 is also slow to respond to the remote through the UI, it's only 2 months old.

I have gigabit internet and gigabit Ethernet running on UniFi hardware. It's definitely not my network.

Re: Sky Glass Gen 1 & 2: UI Lag

I've now got in the habit of turning off the TV at the wall every morning for five minutes, then back, seems to last a bit longer, but I agree it's a dreadful service and nothing is tested at the end user anymore.

Hi @Lc35  As frustrating as waiting may be someone will post an update when there is one to give.  Unfortunately whilst the Sky technical teams endeavour to find a solution it is just a question of patience.  Hopefully it won't be long for those effected 🤞

Mine has been turning itself off over the last few days as well.
