Re: My sky playing up
Try a restart and see if that helps.
- Go to Settings
- System management
- Resets & updates
- Restart device
if that doesn't work, consider leaving it turned off at the wall for a few minutes and then power it back up.
If that's no better, can you do this test and report your speed please?
- Open the Netflix app on Sky.
- Go to Get Help in the sidebar.
- Select Check Your Network.
- Note the download speed displayed.

Re: My sky playing up
Are you connected via WiFi or Ethernet? Connecting via an Ethernet cable to the router provides a much more stable connection than just using WiFi.

Re: My sky playing up
Are you connected by WiFi or ethernet?
Also for the avoidance of doubt, is that your general internet speed or the speed you measured via the Netflix app on Sky? It's important to do the test on the Netflix app to see what speed your device is truly getting.

Re: My sky playing up
Thanks, and can you confirm the second part of my post please as it will help us help. Or if you meant that's your general internet speed, please report back with the Netflix reported speed.

Re: My sky playing up
@Nita2 You say connected by EiFi. In that case I would encourage you to use an ethernet cable to connect the TV to the router and turn off WiFi in the TV settings
It gives a much more stable connection. When I first got a Glass TV I had similar issues for the first couple of weeks. I connected it via ethernet cable and it's been stable everywhere since.
