Lack of Music Channels on Sky Glass/Stream

Just a general question here. I know we have the apps like vevo and the YouTube app and xumo play with the sting ray style audio streaming channels but what is the real reason channels like Now Music and That's TV music channels not just in the tv guide on glass/stream?  It can't because they don't stream! What's channel box on freeview, streaming right? Is it Sky saying the quality is too poor? Is it the providers saying it's too expensive to be on the platform? I just prefer putting in a channel number and seeing what's on the music channels and it's now just MTV.

My frustration is having to seek out or multiple clicks or wait for an app to load or find a playlist which is not a simply channel flick...I want it easy.

is there really no interest in music channels anymore? If that's the case why have Now and That's TV got so many channels going! Let's not forget clubland!

I hope I'm not the only person that finds this frustration.

@Mattio+UK  Music channels have been closed on satellite as there are too few viewers to make it worthwhile, Glass & Stream viewers would be even lower so would make it financially unviable for most providers.

MTV have deeper pockets as they are a Global brand.

@Mattio+UK

Plenty of music channels have closed down for good over the past few years ... mostly I would say due to running costs of the channel as opposed to most users listening to music on YouTube or one of the music streaming apps  or even on Alexa's etc

there just isn't a market for it anymore.

there are lots of radio channels on sky glass ....
