I have sky glass and

I have sky glass together with a puck which is ok with my extra tv, but will not operate an older tv - approx 15 years - through the hdmi input - the tv just doesn't recognise it, but operates a firestick ok - any suggestions ?

The HDCP 1.4 standard was ratified 08/07/09, so 'approx 15 years' may well pre-date that.  HDMI 1.4 is the same vintage.

Re: I have sky glass and

My lg tv is about the same age, and works OK,  on the tv go to  settings  and have a look  at inputs see what it gives you, also when you  set the puck up did you use the puck remote  to turn your  tv on  and off  and control  the  sound on it ?

Re: I have sky glass and

My tv has 3 x HDMI inputs plus the normal tv - the puck was set up on another tv originally and worked ok controlling the on / off & volume of that tv. On my current tv the puck does not show up when I alter the source between HDMI's

Re: I have sky glass and

Think you  my have to set it up again  for the tv that you are now using  and that may be why it's  not working at the moment
