Had Essential package now have Glass and Ultimate

I have had broadband and essential package for a while, recently upgraded to glass and ultimate packag, assumed ultimate would supersede essential package but am being charged for both which I didn't expect, ultimate is under the streaming section of the bill and essentials under tv and broadband section, is this correct? Do I pay for both essential and ultimate?

@Nuglas  You shouldn't no, when did you switch has there maybe a crossover period between the two payments

Did you change your BB package when you subscribed to Ultimate and bought your Glass TV?

No I didn't, I had assumed TV and broadband were separate items and the TV side would be upgraded to Ultimate when I got glass

As mentioned by @SKY1992bf the TV subscription should get cancelled when your streaming subscription starts. Sky seperate the old school TV subscription, the streaming subscriptions and the broadband/phone subscriptions into different sections/services.

 

What should have happened is the day you activated the Sky Glass it should have automatically cancelled the TV subscription at midnight the following morning.

What is the current Sky Essentials Package. .... if not Sky BB + Sky Q without subscription channels?

 

The Sky website has become rather opaque to browsing Sky Packages🤔

That's only a description of the TV part.... BUT can it be bought without BB... before www.Sky.com became opaque Essential was a BB package which included a Sky Q box minus subscription channels🤔

@Exiled-in-HH the link I posted is the only one I've ever been aware of, I might be wrong but I don't believe it's available to new customers and can only be downgraded to from a paying subscription
