Glass TV and PUK 2 remotes one for the TV and one for the PUK??

I have a Glass TV, no 4 in the house so we can't register it to the acc. Sky recommend using the PUK to run the TV as we are allowed 6 PUKs. We now have it working however we are having to use 2 remotes, one to turn the TV on and off and use the Volume. And a second one to navigate around the TV selecting progs etc.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get it down to 1 remote to do everything??

I have spent a good few hours on the phone with Sky and we have yet to find a solution, but I really feel.there must be one, somehow.

If you use the wrong remote and do the wrong thing with it, it throws the whole set up off.

Please does anyone have any ideas

Thank you

Hi @JRW4

I guess it's a use case the Sky didn't plan for given that they didn't plan for a puck to be used on a glass. They do provide guidance for Q boxes (https://www.sky.com/help/articles/connect-q-to-glass) with glass. Maybe try those instructions with the puck... But not sure you are going to find a code for getting puck remote to work with the glass TV.

Or try pairing a Sky Q remote and using that to see if it works any better for your use case.

@peter-marlow+1966  I think they have 4 active TVs

Jrw4 as far as I  am  aware  you can only have a maximum  of 3 tvs  and 6 pucks in one house, on your  account with a whole  home subscription

Hi @peter-marlow+1966

Yes you are correct. The OP has stated this is why they are using a puck with a glass unit as they cannot fully activate the 4th TV..
