Channel 4 app

The channel 4 app seems broken. Every time I go to watch a programme 9 times out of 10 it goes to a black screen then nothing. It worked consistently a few days ago but now nothing. Every other app works fine and I have tried the usual stuff of turn it off for 10 mins, restart puck and router and refresh the apps but nothing works. Just thought I would ask if anyone else had this and found away around it before I go down the predictable route of ringing sky and being told it's channel 4 then channel 4 telling me it's sky!!! Same old same old....

Hi @Ant13 I have not encountered this issue myself but some other subscribers are also having trouble. There is a comprehensive thread on the Glass forum at THIS link

In order for the community to assist you will need to describe what the issue is. Plus information such as who your ISP is and what connection speed you get might also be useful together with any steps you have already tried.

 

Remember we are fellow subscribers on the community not Sky and have no idea about your set up unless you tell us!

@Nat104  Although I have not had issues myself I am aware that many other people are experiencing problems with Channel 4.  There is a comprehensive thread on this issue which will contain relevant information for you:  Channel 4 Issues.

I have been having issues for over a week now

Mostly around 7pm

You have to continually having to reboot and still nothing it's extremely frustrating 

Tonight l had to reboot three times and then you couldn't fast forward & you couldn't use volume button. 

  • Bit fed up with it
