HBO Max subtitles

[Quine+Online]

I tried watching an episode of the Sopranos on the new HBO servIces and the subtitles are broken. Text is a few seconds ahead of the picture and double overlapping text boxes when different characters speak out of sync. Do the other HBO shows have this problem or just this one? Series 5 ep 12.

Thanks but I'm tired of chasing. Go here, no go there, the useless AI bot. The difficulty of getting simple answers to questions is so dispiriting. Doubly galling that it's in the context of accessibility and disability.
