With the sky + app getting retired we have installed the sky go app but have to say we are extremely disappointed.
as with the sky plus app the EPG hasn't been updated to reflect the new EPG on the hd box. Channels 1 to 5 are now all HD channels.
the sky go app doesn't even give BBC 1 or an option for favourites .
most of the tv we watch is 1 to 5 and have stayed with sky because we like the sky plus app and the sky EPG.
Before we cancel and go to Freesat will the sky go app be getting updated to reflect the current sky epg.

It does, but it's the Q EPG, because the current Go app is descended from the app developed for Sky Q.
As @Annie+UK indicates, the BBC chooses to push users towards iPlayer (in order to justify Licence Fee spending on that platform) and Sky cannot list BBC channels in the Go app without the permission of the Beeb.

Sadly this is a known issue with the both apps as there are more than those few in the wrong number slots. You will find them in the TV Guide but much lower down so for Channel 5 in HD try 805 and the others are in the same area number wise.
