I have been restricted on Sky Sport +

For some time my wife and I have been watching Sky Sport + at the same time. My wife on an Ipad and me on an Android tablet.

We have been able to watch the same football match simultaneously. For no apparent reason we can now only watch on one device, the other device coming up with an error message saying that we have reached the maximum number of devices. Sky chat just takes me around in circles and waiting for an engineer to speak to !!!!! I may not have that many weeks left.

it would appear that Sky have recently implemented a one device at a time policy rather than allowing multiple concurrent streams on multiple devices

@Old_and_confuse  There seems to be a new policy of only one concurrent stream at anyone time

 

you aren't the first to report this and I doubt you'll be the last

I'm having the same problem so I called Sky - they told me there should be no restriction and to set up secondary id's and link them to my account - I've done that but still the have the same problem

Thanks for your answer but why have Sky done this? I also can't find anything on their website to say they have done this. .

Sky Go and Sky Go Extra customers can stream on two devices at a time.
Sky Q Multiscreen and Sky Glass/Sky Stream Whole Home customers can stream on four devices at a time – up to three using Sky Go and one using either the Sky Sports app or website.

Yes but this is saying at least two at a time,as before, but I, ( on sky go extra) and others are now only getting one device at a time.! 

Where does it say it has been reduced?.

But when I click on that link it quotes two devices. As does your quote.

For the Sky Sports steams it dies say:

 

and one using either the Sky Sports app or website.

 

With one meaning one device.
