Only Sky themselves can clear this for you so you will need to contact them about it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAll Sky accounts have a spending limit to prevent overspending on events like this so it is possible that if you have never purchased any events like this before that yours has not be setup so you would need to get in contact with Skt regarding this.

That's similar to me , I've never had a spending cap

I got the insufficient credit problem asking me to call the Sky helpline. This was at 10:30 last night. Unfortunately the Sky helpline closed at 9 so I missed the boxing. Will need to sort earlier in future.

You have had a spend cap, you might not have been aware of it but it is present on your account for the reasons I stated above.

I'm not a Sky user; I just bought a Box Office Event. So, does this Spend Cap include me? If so why aren't people made more aware of this? Thanks 🙂

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreNot sure it applies to non Sky customers as for Sky customers it is in place to prevent over spending on such events.

Is there somewhere, if you can point me in the right direction, where I can find more info on it? Thanks 🙂

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Swifty4 Insufficient credit aka spend cap only applies to sky tv customers with a viewing card
so unless you ordered it via a sky tv box with a viewing card inserted and have at least a basic sky tv subscription it doesn't apply to you

I rang Sky the following morning to find out why I couldn't sign up/pay for the boxing. Was told there is a cumulative spend cap of £100 which periodically needs resetting by calling Sky when approaching or due to exceed the £100. They also said I have no where I can check my spending and will always need to call them to check. I have a sky account with viewing card. Not sure if this information is correct but definitely what I was told by the call handler at Sky.
