@colin+andrews

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

You will then need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:
https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email

As you mention the Outlook app, I'm assuming you are doing this on a mobile device.

If so, you need to choose "NOT YAHOO" in order to use the settings @caesarome provided.

Re: sky login settings for outlook app

Hi, I have just bought MS office 2024, I have 3 e mail address' set up and working in the Outlook desktop app perfectly but I cannot get the sky one to work. I've followed all the manual instructions, it's not connecting automatically and I've done this a hundred times before on different systems and it just will not connect. What am I missing??

@gillysixpence88

Glad to hear you solved it, but for info the servers you are using in the screen shot are wrong.

They should be imap.tools.sky.com and smtp.tools.sky.com.

Although you can use imap.mail.yahoo.com amd smtp.mail,yahoo.com.

Re: sky login settings for outlook app

Hi thanks, I did try both of those options multiple times, the only way to get the mail in was to switch to pop and use an app password so I'll leave well alone until they change it again!

The app password should work just a well for IMAP as POP.

Re: sky login settings for outlook app

Yes I know as I have 2 other accounts as Imap and one of those uses an app password. It just wasnt' having it yesterday! It's working fine now with an app password as a pop so until that changes I'll leave well alone. Thanks for your help. 🙂

When setting up choose Yahoo, enter your Sky email & password then proceed. You may be asked to authenticate the addition by entering these details via the Yahoo site - do this - then the account should be set up. I've done this on Apple Mail & Outlook 365.

Virginia.
I don’t work for Sky.
