As you have found, Classic Outlook will only work with a generated password (as it is not able to use OAuth with Sky|Yahoo accounts) and Sky have removed access to the generator.
Did you make a note of any previously generated passwords, as they will still work.
If not, do you have any devices still working that are using generated passwords, as it may be possible to recover the password from those and use it again.
