Unfortunately I don't know anything about iPhone's, so I will let @caesarome talk you through that.

In order to not have to use the verification code the setup will need to be a manual one, using a generated password, if you use an OAuth setup it will almost certainly need the verification code.

On the PC, depending on the version of Windows, it should be possible to use Windows Mail to get access to the emails.

 

I will just say the appalling implementation of 2FA Sky use is their's, so to tell people to contact Yahoo when it all goes wrong,.is totally out of order.

I agree. It underlines the limited (I'm being kind here) knowledge of Sky own email service that Sky customer service advisers have. Advising customers to talk to Yahoo is a total fob-off.

OK @kayBate , on your iphone go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.

 

For the password login here to generate one and use this:

https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email

 

Whe you have filled in thise boxes hit "Next" then follow the instructions to finish setting up the account.

I managed to change the password in the account, but when logging on it's not accepting the password generated, but when I put my normal password in it takes me to 2FC

I think you are misunderstanding what we are trying to do for you. We are trying to give you a different way to access your emails so you can hopefully find the recovery code email via it which will then allow you to access your emails like you used to do.

 

You say it is no accepting the generated password, if so what does it say ?

Hello

you have got me on my emails through my laptop thank you, but I wanted to change my phone number on the email so when I get the 2 way verification code on my other devices it will be my new phone number

So you need to find the Recovery Code in your email Inbox. Then log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email but select 'can't use code'. You'll then be prompted for the Recovery Code and that will turn off 2FA. 

 

Then you can set it up again if you wish (or you can leave it turned off), this time putting in the new mobile number, when you prompted to.

If someone could help me with changing my phone number in the online email account, I have tried putting the new password in and it's saying it's wrong, yet the online account worked, I tried to put my old password in and it's asking for the 2wf code, that's what I'm trying to prevent, I've changed the phone number in sky, but it didn't change it in emails, someone said I needed to change phone number once I got into the emails

I'm confused now so can you confirm you can now access your emails via here:

If so can you find your email with the recovery code in it, it would have been sent on the same day that you activated 2 step authentication ?
