Yahoo

Why does yahoo lose keep losing conextion to the server for the biggest part of the day when i am awake it is very annoying when you are waiting for emails

Not entirely sure who you answered yes to. (or possibly it's both)

But if you are using an iOS device, there is currently (it's been ongoing for quite a while) a problem as you describe.

There are different opinions as to whether the problem is with Apple or Sky, but either way there doesn't appear to be a fix.

The work-arounds are to either use the website, as suggested by @caesarome , or to use a different app to Apple Mail.

Outlook appears to be a good alternative.
