Why doesn't Sky YahooMail not have MFA/2FA facility?

FINALLY! Sky DID eventually INTRODUCE MFA for none Yahoo emails via Sky!!!! I wonder whether Sky bowed to my pressure. Either way, good to see that they have taken a good look at their Cyber hygiene! MFA is now basic requirement for anyone who takes cybersecurity seriously enough.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreNope. But thankfully there are other providers, including Yahoo Mail, that allow it, if it's a concern.

Yes, and I do use such providers. In fact, all my other email providers use MFA except SkyMail. Yes, I can move, of course, but this should not have to be this way for something that is a pretty basic security requirement for any responsible organisation in modern cyber security conscious world.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI suspect the Sky Yahoo Mail service is a legacy provision for Sky, that they would be happy to see wither on the vine.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky email is only available to those that have previously set up an accounts as it hasn't been possible to set new ones up for a few years now so while you might be right about this, it is going to change I suspect.

Yes, I am notching over two decades now with Sky. I do have @sky.com email account. Even if there may be few people using it the sky email, Sky/Yahoo still have some obligations for end end user cyber security when using services they (Sky/Yahoo) provide.
Come Sky/Yahoo please get this sorted soon.

Not going to happen. If you are unhappy with that, just go somewhere else.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTrue, but I bet I'm right. Sky really would like to get rid of the email service..
And no, I have no proof of that either. Still think I'm right.
