Re: Yahoo SkyMail

Okay, thank you for your inputs. I shall contact sky support just to see what they have to say about this.

Will certainly do.   In French, we say, 'on ne sait jamais!'

Logged a case last night and they are investigating...

Re: Yahoo SkyMail

Did you ever get anywhere with this, as it's exactly what i am wondering too.  Would change but such a deal with so many of my various online accounts set up with the Sky email

One would assume not, as two months have passed. I've seen nothing to indicate that Sky intend to introduce MFA at any point.

Re: Yahoo SkyMail

I am still persuing this with Sky ADR and Information Commissioner (ICO.). I will keep you posted.

If anyone is willing to join me to force Sky or Yahool to practice what they preach and implement MFA as per their own recommendation here,

Please, let me know. I will not rest until something is done about this. Sky cannot just sky from its responsibilities by offloading services to Yahoo knowing fully well that people's data is being potentially exposed to cyber threats.

It is almost impossible to just change/switch such a long historical email service.

Re: Yahoo SkyMail

FINALLY! Sky DID eventually INTRODUCE MFA for none Yahoo emails via Sky!!!! I wonder whether Sky bowed to my pressure. Either way, good to see that they have taken a good look at their Cyber hygiene! MFA is now basic requirement for anyone who takes cybersecurity seriously enough.

Did this answer not help you?

It was been in place for months. If you're using it or plan on using it, be sure to note the set up instructions. There have been numerous posts from those who haven't and come seriously unstuck.

You are a bit late to notice this as it has been out for quite a while so when setting it up make sure you make a note of the recovery code because failure to do so as @Mark39 has said can lead to issues getting nto your account,

Re: Yahoo SkyMail

Haven't been using Sky Mail as I was geared to move to another more serious email service provider! I barely use SkyMail these days because it was insecure without MFA. But it nice to see, better late than never though!
