Account email verification

I have received an email from Sky asking me to verify my email account. When I select the verify button in the email I get a responds saying that the page is not secure and advising me to close the link. What can I do.

@cross24511018@Zejnori  it would appear not to be a scam. See the previous posts.

Re: Email

Hi all - it's been confirmed by Sky as a scam.

I just called Sky to check on this, as my folks just received one of these - pasted below. I've removed Dad's name.

Sender was: From: Sky <sky'at'email.contact.sky>

Sky confirmed IT'S A SCAM - delete and ignore!Screenshot 2026-01-14 134939.jpg

@ExBattHenRescue

If that emaiil has your actual name on and not dear user or something like that then despite what you have been told this time it is not a scam as we superuaets have had this investigated by the Sky team in

hete and they have come back to say it is from Sky.

Re: Email

Thanks 🙂

The sky advisor told me that at first they thought this was genuine, but on closer investigation it was confirmed as a definite scam, even with the correct first name in the greeting.

He said there are currently no requirements to confirm any email addresses or payment details.

I'd prefer to play it safe!

Re: Account email verification

Hi Harry

I think that all you need to do is login using  same email as contained in your account details and that's it.

my problem was , I think,  linked to using an IPad. When I logged in using an Android account it was fine.

hope this helps.

Re: Email

It's genuine.

I attempted to log in using a false password and the system immediately flagged up that the password was incorrect.

Using the correct password logged me into my account.

I don't know why Sky need to do this, but it's not a scam.
