I was having trouble accessing my Sky yahoo account. I followed the online instructions and deleted the account. When I tried to re-set the password sky says they no longer offer an email account with yahoo

Just so you know, we're customers here.
How did you delete your Sky Yahoo Mail account? It's not an easy thing to do and I'm wondering if it's actually still there. Can you log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email

I have tried that link and I can get in but I cannot add this to my my iPad that is where I deleted it. When I try and add this as anew account it either says it cannot reach the server or no password on sky. It directs me back to my Sky account to reset the password but it says no longer offers the service through Yahoo. I have not received an email from this account on my iPad or my phone since 2pm

I went into settings and then email and add an account

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAlmost certainly Apple's default Mail app then, which has recently developed some problems following an IOS update. Apple are apparently investigating. Meanwhile you could try another mail app or log in via the link I posted previously

Confused now. Earlier you said you were able to get to your email via the link.

I can get into account via the link but I cannot get e-mails on my iPad as the account is deleted there. When Intry to add it back to my iPad it directs me to my sky account but Sky say I cannot create an e-mail account with through Yahoo now as they do not offer it now

Try using the Outlook app instead of Apple mail or use the webmail via a browser.
