We have been on the phone for over an hour to try and get someone to help access an old email address.
Every time we have been on the phone it has cut out 3 times!! It is extremely frustrating as each time we have to phone again and go through all of the rigmarole again including going through security questions.
Ready just to bin sky off altogether now.

It was last used about 4 years ago.
The problem is that one of our apps is linked to this old email address and it won't send the emails anywhere else.
Sky are not helping in the least and one customer service advisor managed to locate it, the other 3 said that it did not exist and then cut us off!! 4 times now!!
Usually when we phone sky they sort out the problem but tonight has been an absolute nightmare.

When I click on the link it says
Account Locked - we apologise for the inconvenience caused but we have encountered a problem with your account, For assistance call us on .......... This is the number we called and I may as well have asked my cat for assistance. We called a total of 5 times over 2 hours - one person located the email address and then got cut off, a further 3 said that the email address didn't exist and then cut us off midway through the call!!
We are extremely disappointed in sky - the customer service was absolutely appalling. The trouble is also that it has been such a long time since using it that we can't remember the password. The app we are trying to use for another matter and which we need resolved will only change the email address by putting in the old email address and the password which we can't remember and all we are doing is going round and round in circles. Neither will the app allow us to create a new registration nor will it allow us to delete the old registration to enable us to re-register without verifying it on the old email address which we can't do either - so we are between a rock and a hard place. The app people have not helped us nor have sky!!

I'm a bit confused. Unless the app is Sky related, you could have used anything for its login password, even if you used your Sky Yahoo Mail address as its username. Ae you sure you used your Sky Yahoo Mail password?
