Service Unavailable - DNS Failure
I cannot sign into my sky email (last 2 days).
I've had the email account for over 20 years and there is no recovery email address attached as that wasnt required when I set it up - it keeps asking for me to reneter my password, which I do - it sends a text code which I enter and it then says Service Unavailable - DNS failure.
I have reset my router cleared the cache, tried on my iphone, macbook and mac desktop. All are on upto date iOS 26.5.
Retsarted all devises too. Tried via apple mail apps, sky.com - yahoo mail, yahoo app.
Just been on the phone to sky (3 different depts) for an hour and after getting me to redo all the things I'd already tried they said they couldn't do anything and I had to conact Yahoo direct as it was theire problem now.
Tried on Yahoo - it asks for the recovery email address.
They also said the old sky.com emails were being phased out!
Any help gratefully received

@JudeA no point contacting Yahoo, they can't help with Sky Yahoo Mail.
Can you log in here: https://sky.com/signin/email/?

Re: Service Unavailable - DNS Failure
What is the full error message, and what is the URL shown in the address bar when you get it?

Well, interestingly, that gives me the same DNS error, so it's not just you.
The question then is, why are you being directed to there?
For me, the My Details page is https://www.sky.com/mydetails what happens if you go there?

Re: Service Unavailable - DNS Failure
It takes me to the sky details page with lots of options but nothing about signing into my sky email account. I can sign in fine to my main Sky account just not the sky.com email account

Re: Service Unavailable - DNS Failure
Yes - once I go through the sign in, password and texted code.
On all devices and through Yahoo mail on the sky.com website.

Instead of going via Yahoo mail at Sky.com try that link above as it should take you directly to your email account.

Re: Service Unavailable - DNS Failure
It does sound like there is a problem only when you access your email account.
Interestingly there was another similar problem reported recently, DNS failure on Skymail no access | Sky Community, but the poster there didn't say if it was ever resolved.
I think you will have to go back to Sky (not Yahoo) and ask to be referred further up the chain, if they try to say it's anything to do with Yahoo point out that it is a Sky URL that is failing.
