Old Surname

It doesn't matter what I do my emails still show my old name in the recipient's mail box. My account is in my new name, everywhere I have looked it says my new name, I don't know what else to do. I really don't want to change my email address. Can anyone offer any advice, thank you?

If you access your emails online here:

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/

Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Your Name.

If this isn't how you access and send your emails what app or program do you use ?

It has my new name in this section but it still shows up as my old name at the recipients end. My name has been changed in all their contacts but a lot just had me down as my first name anyway as we're family/friends and most only have on friend/relative called Anita.

You didn't answer my question about how you read and send your emails, do you use an app or do you login to the Sky website ?

You asked if I didn't use the sky website how did I access them. By not telling you another method I thought it was obvious I used the sky website.

When you compose an email, is the name you expect shown here:

Hi,

did you ever have any joy with this?

the person I spoke to on the phone at Sky suggested standard answers but I haven't been able to change my maiden name to my surname.

You can change your name via the webmail at Settings - More settings - Mailboxes and select your Sky mailbox.

The setting you need to change is "Your name".
