Usually works fine, text comes through but nothing. i dont remember where my recovery phrase is so im told it can take 21 for a new recovery code (21 days, are they kidding me ?) Tried all the usual turn phone off and on again, friends have sent me a text etc.... is it a Yahoo to 02 issue and national as sky are non the wiser ???

To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code.

Sorry to jump on post, I am still having problems cancelling this, when I try sign in with recovery code it says its not recognised. I don't know if I'm being silly but I presume I use the recovery code at the password stage of signing in

If I remember correctly when it came up to send you a pass code to your phone, then below the 6 box area I clicked there and then it asked for original verification code I was given at the beginning.
Put that in and it basic resets itself, it will still ask for password etc and then ask if you want to set up 2 step verification or again below it says no thanks I will do it later so make sure you click on that. Unfortunately it does ask every time but easier than getting a pass code sent

Thanks, that worked for me, i think the box below said something about can't use OTP code or similar. My worry was about receiving text messages whilst abroad incurring costs as well as annoyance factor

I am also not receiving authentication codes so can't log in to my emails. This seems to be a wider problem that needs fixing asap.

I'm not receiving OTP to access my emails. This happened a few months ago and it took Sky ages to sort. Hope it doesn't take long this time
