Were you using 2FA and receiving the codes before changing your password?

Changing the password, shouldn't affect the 2FA codes being sent.

Yes, I was using 2fa & i have received codes in the past.

Im definitely using the correct, new, password as I can login to Sky, the sky app etc

It does sound like you have the same problem as the others, as Sky mobile seem to be one of the networks not receiving the codes, although why it started for you after changing your password is a mystery.

I had a long conversation with Sky earlier. At least they acknowledged there is a known issue, and gave me a reference number. I was informed technical gurus are working on it.

Mine did that for a while, but then it stopped sending me the codes again. I have taken my two factor off temporarily, whilst they sort it.

Sky email verification issue

Just started yesterday tried to access my emails hit a verification code on the mobile phone says sending code to my mobile number crossed checked sky account correct mobile number on there but not getting the code so can not get into mail?

@Anthem1 as previously suggested here, you can use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification and set it up again later, if you wish, once this problem has been resolved.

It's not a very good look for Sky. 

 

Still not resolved. Still no official advice to customers. 

 

How many more customers are being frustrated?

 

How many are not even aware of this forum and so, are not aware of the advice to help?

Did you not make a note of it as it advised you to do onscreen as you had to tick a box to say you had done this before the set up could continue.

@Anthem1 in that case, your options are either to wait for a fix to the problem with receipt of Verification Codes, or to give Sky a call and ask them to turn off 2 step verification on your behalf. That may take a while depending on how many other similar requests are being made.
