Hi,
I've just taken over as Newsletter secretary for a local club. We have around 150 members of which half need Newsletters by post and half have emails.
I create the newsletter as a Word document and use the mailings option for the posted ones which works great.
However it lets me create a cover letter but won't allow an attachment (the newsletter itself) for the Emailed ones so I can't use it.
I did manage to get the 75 email addresses into an Outlook group but it refuses to let me send. I'm guessing that there's a limit on the number I can send with an attachment, and that's why it doesn't work.
Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of recipients and if so what it is?
Also is there an easy to instal add-on to Outlook to allow attachments?
Many thanks for your help.
Emma

Then any restrictions Sky|Yahoo have should have no effect, it will be down to Microsoft/Outlook.

Re: How many emails can i send with an attachment
I may not be able to help, as I've never tried to do something similar, but have a couple of questions.
Are you trying to send this via your Sky email address?
Have you tried just sending it to one recipient, to ensure it works, before trying to send to all?
Are you getting any error messages?
Yahoo says this regarding max number of recipients:
Limits on sending email in Yahoo Mail | Yahoo Help - SLN3353
As you are using Outlook, you may find more help in an Outlook specific forum.

Re: How many emails can i send with an attachment
Thanks jayach for your reply. In answer to your questions.
I was trying to send it from an Outlook email address.
Yes, I have tried sending just a single one and that worked fine.
Thanks also for the link. I had already seen it and it doesn't give much away does it? I haven't received any notification so I guess that's not it.
I'll try sending to a subset and see how many I can send before it crasses and burns.
Thanks again
Emma

Re: How many emails can i send with an attachment
From Googling I have seen a few sites saying it is 100 but I'm not sure how they can to that figure or if that includes those that are sent with attachments.

Re: How many emails can i send with an attachment
Hi Caesarome,
Thanks for the info. I was trying to send 75 when it failed.
I have now done it in batches of 25 and that seems to have worked.
Best wishes
Emma
