Has Yahoo Mail stopped doing a spell check ?

Has Yahoo Mail stopped doing a spell check ?   My spelling is not good so I relie on this useful tip

I can't see a spelling option but the web browser you are using might have a spell checker installed via it, for example I use Chrome across my devices as one is built in so can be used when typing out emails,

I am dyslexic and rely on auto correct and speel check but it has disappeared I am having to use my phone to do all emails as it is taking 3 times longer on my PC  without it!

On your PC you should be able to install a spellchecker if there isnt one built into it so what web browser do you use ?

Sky|Yahoo email has never had a spell check, that functionally is provided by the browser you use.

My laptop has spell checked and auto correct, and I use Google Chrome, except after an update where is defaults to Yahoo! And I have to switch it back. It has always been there and 2 days ago it just disappeared from composing emails.

What do you mean by this, how is Chrome defaulting to Yahoo as Yahoo itself isn't a spellchecker ?

What your laptop has or doesn't have will make no difference, SkyYahoo email runs in a browser and the device it is running on doesn't really have any effect.

As a test try using a different browser,.If your laptop is Windows try using Edge, which would normally be the default, unless you change it.
