It wasn't you sharing your experience, that has to be applauded. It was that you made some incorrect statements as if they were fact, that could mislead others seeking support.

After the transfer? Think my BT yahoo based account (on iOS) just appears. No action needed. Simple old school auth with username & password, perhaps that's why.

Ah, probably iOS is different, Android will take the app over, but won't transer the sign in details, that will need to be re-done.
