Accessing my Skyid account

Getting in my email or SKY ID accounts. I have a two way sign in and having tried, When it came up you are sending me a Code to my telephone it never arrived. I spoke to one of your colleagues last Thursday who to wait 24 hours would be cleared but I do receive any codes. I cannot remember my code I agreed as back up when adding the second access strip.I am getting my emails on my phone and Ipad

The problem seems to be with my lap top.

@Walker1943 there's a known issue affecting some customers with receiving the Verification Code. If you don't have your Recovery Code, you're reliant on Sky turning off 2 step verification on your behalf.

 

It usually takes longer than 24 hours to do that, so I suspect you've been fobbed off. I'd call Sky again.

I assume you are saying you are not receiving verification codes to your phone when trying to sign into Sky|Yahoo emails via a browser. (like many other people at the moment)

It should not stop you accessing your Sky ID (but it will stop you making changes)

As you say you have an IPad and iPhone, is the laptop Apple or Microsoft Windows?
