Closing old version

Recieved an email today stating Yahoo is closing its old version of email - basically follow the link to login to update - is this a scam ..... a copy of the email body is below .......

 

SKY EMAIL

Dear User,

We emailed you last month to let you know about changes we are making to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These changes are key steps towards creating what's next for our consumers, like you, while empowering them with transparency and controls over how and when their data is used.

in order to continue to access your Mailbox after April 
1st  2025, you will need to Confirm you accept the Terms of Service.

 If you do not want the new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to apply to you, you will no longer be able to access your account from  April 3rd 2025. If you would like the contents of your email account, you may obtain a copy of your data by clicking here

Yes, it's an attempt to get you to disclose your login details. Just mark it as spam.

 

There's no 'old' version. The link will take you to a fake website. I've asked for the link to be removed.

@Ssqquare+eyez  Sky emails should address you by first name which isn't the case here so I would be highly cautious about this email

Yes this is a scam email so mark it as spam and do the same if you are sent anymore. Any updates will be done by Yahoo/Sky and not by us customers.
