An unknown error has occurred

An unknown error has occurred each time i log in !! any help it was working today but no joy

Edited to add: just learned thay Sky are having some technical difficulties this afternoon, which may well account for the log in problem you're having.

Cannot log in.Message is we are upgrading our systems.

I assume this is because of the hot weather affecting cables etc.Was fine until around 2pm today but seems to be affecting most of london and the south east according to outage website.Never seen this message before.Access to internet is fine but cannot access emails and all other sites are working ok.Thankyou.

No idea about the cause, but I do know Sky are having some technical difficulties this afternoon, which may well account for the log in problem you're having.

I'm not sure it is to do with an update but there are some issues across the Sky network this afternoon that are seeing various services from On Demand TV and email by hit as per this:

I agree - I doubt it's anything to do with  an update. I suspect that's just a generic message which is displayed when Sky are restarting or recovering back end systems.
