It is not clear from your post if these other emails are not there or it is an issue with your browser so try this:
Try clearing your browsers cache and cookies then close down the browser before loading it up and trying again. If this doesn't work see if using it's incognito mode works and if it doesn't try a different browser works to see if that works for you.
If this doesn't work and these emails were not backed up then I'm afraid they might be gone for good as this is a common issue with Yahoo especially if you store all your emails in the inbox and not is other folders that have been set up.
