All my emails are going into to my unread folder instead of inbox.
The advice available states this is due to a filter in my settings.
I'm told to go into my settings anr delete the filter, however
there are no filters showing in my settings.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI suspect you are trying to do this on a phone. It is best to use a browser on a PC/laptop.
It is under Settings - More settings - Filters.
If there are any set, your account has probably been compromised, so change your password.

Edit, ignore that you said unread not deleted. See new reply.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have an unread folder, you are obviously using an app or client. What is it?
Unread will be where the emails are before you read them. It is not so much a folder (although that is how it may appear) but more of a flag.

i do use a mobile phone app to acces my emails as well as a laptop, the same occurs on both, I will try changing my password as suggested

Changed password, and same occurs, 'yahoo mail' app being used on my mobile - also deleted that and reinstated it - still the same

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs I said earlier unread isn't a folder, it's just a view of (as the name says) emails you haven't read yet.
The emails appear there first because they are new and unread.
There should also be an inbox, which is where they actually are., it not an either thing they will appear to be in both.
How do you view your emails on the laptop.
Has it not always worked like this, or has something changed?

Something has changed, and not knowingly
on my part. Previously every unread email
went into my inbox. It's not a huge inconvenience
to access any email via unread, instead of inbox,
however I have an app on my mobile which sends
me a notification when I receive an email, which
I'm not getting as they're not going in to my inbox,
which has resulted in me not being made aware of important
emails until I remember to check the unread folder

I haven't changed anything.
Yes I do have an inbox, but nothing goes in there.
Previously they all did.
A further issue is that if I read an email in unread it immediately
gets deleted and I can't access again

That's because if you've read it, it's no longer unread.
It's hard to be sure just what you are seeing, could you post a picture, obviously obscuring any personal information.
And do answer @Mark39's query.

Thanks. A photo of what? Not sure how that would help

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI still can't understand how you have emails in the unread folder, but they are not in the inbox so I thought if we could see the makup of your folders it would help. More me thinking out loud.
This what you should see if you log in on-line, what do you see there?
The number alongside the inbox is how many unread emails are in there. They should be the same as in the unread folder, read email show as faint in the inbox.
Have you tried online? https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/email
Try in more than one browser if possible.
