why no numbers for support

Talk about hard to get someone to talk to. I did ring in on the number like i was going to sign up for the first time was the only way i could get someone.

The servicce is nothing short of rubbish with the router not more than 4 feet from me the wifi is constantly dropping. I went over my logs on the router and the amout of times i am seeing service down or

PPP connection DOWN.
 Voice IP Connection Down
Voice Disconnected
Voice DeInitialized

xDSL link down
Voice Disconnected

and many more. Some days its well over 15 times.

I rang two weeks ago got tech support to apparently make it that my numbe is private .. was it done ,... no still the same dispite the " tis will be 24 hours and your number will be hidden..... NOT ..

If i could leave this service i would do it in a split second as its abslote rubbish.

so come on give a number where you can talk to a human and not a stupid AI bot that just brings you in circles achiving nothing.

@far-far-away

It's not a secret. If you definitely need to call Sky you can call free by dialling 150 from your Sky Talk landline or a Sky Mobile, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up.

@far-far-away

I've just tried it. It works. Change the flag (I presume therefore you're in the ROI) then click on 'Need More Help' and near the bottom it gives a 0818 number although Sky Ireland Customer Services may be closed now until tomorrow morning.

@far-far-away hope you are aware that @Daniel0210 is a customer like yourself he doesnt work for Sky - slight hint is the "not an employee" string on his posts.

Re: why no numbers for support

And here we are dispite 3 calls still waiting over two weeks for my call back.  Shocking service by far , still have broadband issues only a few feet from the router and cat5 and cat6 lead direct to the box 1 mtr long many many times the speeds drop to below 30mb , for 500mb fiber thats just simply not good enough.

Things i had aasked to be done like withholding my nmber 4 times now and still not done , diabolical is an under estimate.

If I could leave this service without penelities i would be gone in a split second

@far-far-away raise a formal complaint see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint-roi and ask to be released from contract. If Sky doesn't agree you can take your complaint toman independent arbitrator .
