my i phone 12 pro max will not work in the house but fine outside in the garden ??

My I phone 12 will not recieve or send calls inside my house but works fine in the garden , any ideas?

We have changed the sim, changed the number, but still no joy.

Can the router be set to the incorrect GHZ ?

Sounds like the house is blocking the cellular signal.

Are you using WiFi calling?

yes we are using wifi calling

we have tried everything

my I phone 11 works perfectly, my wife's I phone 12 , will not work in the house.

Right.  Does the phone connect to the router and work, e.g. for web pages/email?

yes it connects to internet, sends texts but will not accept calls or make calls. (voices are too distorted to understand then it cuts off the call )

In the garden the phone is fine, no problems at all.

Have you tried rebooting your router ?

yes.... and we have restarted the phone several times.

And yet my I phone 11 has no issues at all in the house.

This thread is in the wrong forum as it's not a Sky Mobile issue - probably the Broadband section.

 

However, if one phone is working perfectly then it would indicate an issue with the phone itself, most likely some configuration or at worst a hardware fault that only materialises with time-critical connections.

I would recommend taking this up with EE first. Then coming back here if they say something on Sky's end needs to change
