several times a day the router stops working and has to be rebooted. We never had this with our previous provider. When it does work the tv picture pixelates quite often. Not what I expected when I was convinced the move to Sky was a good idea.

Find out more@Paul2426 check the lights on the hub when the connection goes down and use this troublecshooter https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start Problems with the line you use to connect will affect any isp using it so while it isnt down to Sky if you line has developed a fault but it needs fixing
The TV issues are probably separate to stream video you need a decent wifi connection free from interference somyou msy need a wifi booster or similar if using ethernet cable isn't practical. Sky will,supply one but they will charge you.
