Wifi connection

My WiFi connection keeps cutting out on my laptop including my ethernet cable

@Staci4  & @EMmoore  Can you please run the service checker, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-broadband-diagnostic/sky-broadband-diagnostic

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.


After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

I would like full fibre to my house not by WiFi to a little green box...

Have you  checked via your account to see if fibre is available at your property ?

@Staci4  Your current broadband is delivered by Fibre to the cabinet and then to your home over copper cable, there is no wifi involved at all between the exchange, cabinet & your home.

 

The wifi signal is provided by your router inside your home only.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
