Re: WiFi speed rubbish
@Raymond1959 the speed guarantee only applies to the broadband speed to the hub which you can check either in the My Sky app's service checker or on the black hub's web interface. Speeds measured over wifi on a device are not covered. This is because WiFi speeds are determined by the layout of your home and how it is built.

Unfortunately, no ISP will guarantee any minimum speed over wifi as there are far too many variables.
Have a look at the following and see if they can resolve your problem easily. If not you may need to consider either the Sky WiFi Max add-on package or perhaps purchasing a 3rd party mesh system (which remains yours regardless of ISP used).
Even the Sky WiFi Max add-on package only guarantees a minimum of 10Mbps in every room when you're on FTTC
by the way (as you appear to be).

What does the BT checker say you're capable of getting? Click on the Address Checker option and put your postcode in, then select your address. Just post the VDSL Range A & B both High & Low.

Re: WiFi speed rubbish
@Raymond1959 you appear to be using a partial fibre connection where the length and condition of your copper phone line connecting to the cabinet determines the speed to the hub. Poor performance of thses lines which can be decades old is a fairly common issue. If you have a black Sky hub can you post the hub's connection stats page see Sky Hub statistics?
