WiFi lag

Good afternoon. I recently received an email offering to terminate my broadband due to not receiving the speeds I pay for. I have 4 children, all into gaming and today the WiFi is horrendous. I'd prefer not to terminate my contract. Is there anything you can do to improve my connection? Boosters maybe?

Booster hardware cannot improve the speed arriving at the address: only a move from copper cable to optical fibre can do that.
