I have just connected a Hub Max 6 and broadband has been activated. The TV is connected by ethernet and has access and phones/laptops are connected with Internet.
I am now trying to connect an Xbox one and Xbox Series S via WiFi. Both Xboxes have connected to the WiFi; however, they are saying that NAT type is strict and UPnP is not successful. I have opened ports using the port numbers type detailed by Microsoft.
This is preventing access to and starting parties online. How do I overcome this?
Thanks,

I've logged into the hub via a browser and there's no visible upnp options available in the settings.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Panda568 you managectge new white hubs using the My Sky app not the web interface go into the Product options select the Sky Max hub and tge switch for UPnP is in the advanced settings page.

Does anyone have an answer for this. I'm now have the same problem. My Xbox connects to my router but doesn't connect to live. Says I need to connect my Xbox to the internet which it is. Same with a wire or wireless.

Yes...
.I had a tp link range extender which was causing the problem as soon as I unplugged it, it worked. In the mean time I called sky they sent me there own version of a range extender worked perfect no problems since.

Glad you got sorted, i don't have any extenders in use so I'm stumped on why the UPnP is supposedly default but it's not working i had zero issues with the black router

You'll need to log into your router and make some changes. To turn on UpNp
192.168.0.1 in a browser
username is admin
password is on the bottom of your router.
there's some settings in there you can change to turn it on also need to look at port forwarding. Same area on the router page I think. Go to xbox.com about port forwarding tells you what you need to do.
