What is Sky Superfast Speed ?

Through poor intermittant broadbast reliability i then carried out a servicecdpeed check to gather results of 23mb/s, however searching google the asvertised speed for this service is 59mb/s.

Questions

1) Is this a common speed?

2) Will this be causing the intermittent service issues i'vee been experiencing?

3) What can i do to resolve this issue?

If you enter your full address below and post the table and notes after removing your address from the image we would know the speed you should be getting

Could you also post your router stats as shown below

FTTC has a maximum speed of 80Mbs, reduced by copper phone line distance from the local fibre cabinet to the subscription address.

FTTC-speed-distance-graph (1).png

59Mbs is a form of national average which Ofcom and the ASA permits ISPs to use in advertising for this broadband technology: as the graph above demonstrates it is unachievable at any location more than 500 metres from the cabinet.

What appears to have happened is your vdsl fttc speed can only provide 30Mbps and in this case advertising standards permit isps to use the national average which is 59Mbps

However the good news is full fibre is available in various speeds of up to 1Gbps.

But i'd like you to post the stats to double check

@cookiemonsteruk is saying that while you are using FTTC over rather poor copper, the address checker is showing active FTTP (full fibre) at the property.
