We have recently changed providers from BT who provided us with a free booster at the start. But with Sky we haven't been given a booster, and there are now spots in the house where the signal disappears and this is affecting my mobile contract as I'm unknowingly using more data due to the poor Wi-Fi coverage.
how can I get a free booster? it appears I can pay for a booster, with another contract but as far as I'm concerned we're not getting like for like as they promised when we changed over as they should be providing the free booster we had with the previous provider.
I have run their tests and they say there's a fault, and then when I do their troubleshooting thing...they say everything's fine, but it's not! I go round and round, I've even tried calling and I just get nowhere! I'm really not happy with this at all

Thank you for your reply!
I have since finally managed to contact an actual person at sky and as I have a wall-to-wall promise that isn't delivering, they are sending a booster! Something the sky agent told me is that you can actually get up to 3 but they only send out one initially and you re contact them if you need more. They then send out an engineer who can assess where it is best to place them to get maximum advantage.
it definitely needs to be easier to get to speak to someone about it as I found that process very frustrating and actually only got to speak to someone through a loophole! However, the issue is now being dealt with and hopefully it will soon be resolved.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@NS771 & @KarenJC27 this is something you wil have tontake up with Sky by calling them. Curently the policy is you havevto but thecadd-on WiFi Max bundle or have a Sky Q box thstvdoesnt connect to get a WiFi extender. See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
I have seen a number of similar posts recently but I dont know if Sky waved the policy for those posters.
