Wasted day waiting for engineer

Had a appointment booked and time given for full fibre to be installed between 1300-1800 waited in all day and nothing what's going on with sky

@Borg26 If the engineer turns up now, then just send him/her packing and re-schedule.

The issue is I've took half a day off work to be at the property and not a call from anyone even if the engineer rang just to say they can't make it poor service

I've had a text from sky and open reach last one was Wednesday from open reach but nothing since

Openreach usually update their ISPs overnight if there's an issue so if the engineer does not turn up give Sky a call tomorrow to see if they've heard anything (not sure if OR update overnight into a weekend so it may be Monday before Sky hear anything).

Cheers all spoke to sky they have got to wait for open reach to confirm why they haven't arrived today and re book it so that means another half day taking off work surely shouldn't they compensate us for wasted non visit ?
