Re: VPN Issues
cmd run as admin
netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Wi-Fi" mtu=1400 store=persistent
worked a treat!! Obviously change Wi-Fi with what ever interface you have on your machine.

Re: VPN Issues
I tried and failed to see if there are options for MTU on the SKY MAX router, is this something that can be set on the LAN side? This will be an easier long term fix. Also can this issue be fed through the channels for when people call in. I've heard varied approaches from the SKY customer service representatives, up to and including letting someone out of their contract early to change their ISP!!!

Re: VPN Issues
My IT admin have logged in remotely today, in the command prompt typed this;
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "WiFi" mtu=1452 store=persistent
Apparantly, "This will allow for the encapsulation headers of 48 bytes that SKY are using for MAP-T etc." they said.
However, i dont fully understand this, but hopefully will help some others. Bottom line is im back on AT&T (with a load of work to catch up on).

Re: VPN Issues
My IT have also managed to get the VPN working again by:-
Fix to be applied.
need admin access to local machine to carry out the following.
netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface 'WiFi" mtu=1452 store=persistent'
This will allow for the encapsulation headers of 48 bytes that SKY are using for MAP-T etc.
I can see that others have also had the same experience & this worked.
