Unstable wi fi

Hi. Over the last week or so I've noticed my WI fi has become unstable. Even iPlayer was buffering! I've done all the checks and it says everything's ok. Should I reboot my router?

@Rosehold59

It is worth rebooting it so leave it off for 10 minutes before powering it back up and wait a further few minutes before seeing what now happens with your devices.

Thank you for your advice, sadly,it's made no difference and am often forced to use my data on 4g instead. It's so slow, especially in the evening. Karen

@Rosehold59 run the serviceccgecker in the My Sky app to see if it has picked up the fault.

@Rosehold59 Have you had a look on the sky service checker at your broadband speed history for the last 30 day's just incase something has happened to cause a large drop off! See the link below.

Re: Unstable wi fi

I've looked at the service checker and it's fairly consistant. I think it may be the router. Don't know what to do about that, really. It's not been too bad lately following the reboot. Thanks for the advice.
