Sky's broadband checker is telling me I'm getting 36gb download speeds but other sites are showing 7gb - it is really slow so I'm not convinced Sky's own is correct - any suggestions of what I can do? Thank you

Find out more@Discodave Sky's test shows your line access speed(that is the speed your router connects to the cabinet/exchange), independent tests show the throughout to your device and that will always be slower due in part to the unavoidable overheads(around 8%) and inevitably interference if using wireless.

I'd also note that the correct unit is 'Mbps' not 'gb'
