Slow broadband

My broadband is super slow. Everything I try to use takes ages to load or freezes

I have called Sky and there is a known issue affecting their broadband services.  Affecting 15,000 customers at present.  There is no issue with your own router so dont worry.  Its affecting me to so we just have to wait unfortunately.

As in your other post, there's only a very small likelihood that @carol73howard is experiencing the same issue, and it's not particularly helpful to suggest this is the case.

@TimmyBGood why are you trolling me?  I am making people aware of a known fault going on at the moment.  You have no idea where these people live an if they are experiancing the same issue or not.  It is important that they are aware of what is going on so they can make enquiries themselves directly with Sky to establish what their particular issue is instead of the guess work you are offering.  Ultimately they are going to have to make the call anyway to fix their issue so lets just leave it as that.

'slow broadband' is typically not a symptom of an area outage: it's frequently a local WiFi problem, or less often a degraded copper connection to an individual address.

@TimmyBGood Slow wifi is exactly why i called them today in the first place.  So it does actually appear to be the same problem.  I am getting spots of internet coming through but really slow.
